Garnet Garden — Sterling Silver Necklace

Two rich, wine-red garnets take center stage in this one-of-a-kind sterling silver necklace. Each marquise-shaped stone is hand-set in a serrated sterling silver bezel on an organically shaped, hand-fabricated backplate.
A delicate stamped vine winds across the silver beneath the stones, joined by tiny botanical details that give the piece the feeling of a little garden discovered somewhere in the wild. The irregular shape and softly textured finish were intentionally kept organic, allowing the deep garnets to remain the focal point.
The necklace is finished with a handmade sterling silver chain, including sculptural, hand-formed decorative clasp that make the chain part of the design rather than an afterthought.
And because the back of a piece should be beautiful too, the reverse carries my signature hand-stamped Wyoming landscape—mountains, evergreens, moon and stars—along with my maker’s mark and sterling mark.
